About Our Firm

 

MacDonald & Pangione was founded in 1958 by Robert H Pangione and Francis J MacDonald. RC Briggs Insurance, originally founded by Richard Briggs in 1866, was purchased in 1960. Francis MacDonald has since retired and Robert Pangione continues to work side by side with his son, Michael S Pangione, President.

We have worked hard the past 53 years in maintaining one of the finest and respected agencies in Massachusetts. We attribute our growth to competitive prices and knowledge of the insurance business, combined with an emphasis on excellent service and friendliness. We maintain a sincere interest in our home and neighboring communities and people and their problems. We pledge always to serve our clients’ interests first. Our office includes a state of the art computer system which incorporates scanning, dual screen monitors, and off site backup of all files. In addition, we have rating software that can provide instant rate comparisons between the 18 carriers we represent for Auto, Home, Business, Commercial Auto, and other lines of business.
